1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the services of Erick's Resale Shop ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services

Erick's Resale Shop provides appliance repair services, sales of used appliances, and related customer support. All services are subject to availability and may be modified or discontinued at our discretion.

3. SMS/Text Messaging Terms

By providing your mobile number and consenting to receive SMS messages, you agree to:

  • Receive service-related messages as described in our Privacy Policy
  • Message frequency varies based on your interactions
  • Message and data rates may apply
  • Reply STOP to opt out at any time
  • Reply HELP for assistance

4. Product Sales and Condition

Items are sold AS IS. All items may have scratches and/or dents. Please inspect items carefully BEFORE purchasing.

No Refunds. Sales are final.

Returns: An item may only be returned within the first 24 hours of purchase, but a 30% restocking fee will be applied without exception. This 30% refers to the value of the item or service purchased and may also be applied to any delivery, deposit, or layaway.

Ice Makers & Water Lines:

WE DO NOT OFFER ANY WARRANTY ON ICE MAKERS OR WATER LINES. These are sold AS IS with NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES.

5. Warranty on Purchased Items

90-Day Warranty

Our 90-day warranty applies to the parts AND labor of the item purchased.

What is NOT covered (Electrical Issues):

The warranty does NOT cover electrical supply problems, including but not limited to:

Dryers:

  • No power / No start: Often caused by a tripped breaker, blown fuse, or only one leg of the 220V circuit working
  • Motor runs but does not heat: Frequently caused by only one leg of the 220V circuit working (one 110V leg powers the motor/timer/control board, but the other 110V leg powering the heating element is dead or not delivering power)
  • Intermittent issues: Problems caused by loose connections, incorrect voltage, or improper wiring at the outlet or breaker panel

General Electrical Issues:

  • Insufficient current running through outlets
  • Incorrect voltage (110V instead of 220V, or vice versa)
  • Tripped breakers or blown fuses
  • Open or disconnected lines from the breaker panel
  • Damaged or faulty outlets
  • Home wiring problems

Other Exclusions:

  • Clogged pipes
  • Clogged or blocked exhaust (dryer vents)
  • Issues caused by improper installation

Warranty Claims:

  • All warranty claims must be brought IN-STORE
  • Items will be given an estimated repair time
  • In-home service is only available if a delivery charge was paid at time of purchase
  • If no delivery charge was paid and customer requests in-home service, a trip fee will apply
  • If the repair is covered under warranty, the customer will NOT be charged for the repair itself
  • Service calls are scheduled on the next available appointment (typically 1-5 business days)

6. Delivery Terms

When delivery is purchased, we will ONLY deliver our item(s).

  • We will NOT move obstructions, remove doors, or assist with cleaning
  • The item will be placed where it corresponds. Installation by customer is required
  • Customer provides: Washer hoses, dryer duct, refrigerator water lines (these are NOT provided)
  • We will ONLY install with new materials if the customer paid for the installation service separately

Delivery Time:

Our delivery time is an estimate with a 3-hour window. Customer must be present within the given time frame.

Missed Delivery:

If the customer is not present, a second delivery/service call charge may apply.

7. Property Damage

We are NOT responsible for any damage done to your property. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Damage to floors of any material
  • Damage to old pipes
  • Damage to walls
  • Any other property damage

Ask for help at your own risk.

8. Appliance Repair Services (Out-of-Warranty)

Estimates:

All repair estimates are valid for 30 days.

Parts:

Replacement parts may be new or refurbished.

Warranty on Repairs:

  • Parts warranty: Warranty varies by brand and part — typically 30 days to 1 year, depending on the manufacturer and part type
  • Labor warranty: Labor is not covered under warranty. Warranty applies to parts only. Any additional service visits required will incur labor charges

Access:

Customer must provide clear access to the appliance for diagnosis and repair.

9. Payments

  • Payment is due upon completion of services or at time of purchase
  • We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and other approved payment methods
  • We do not accept personal checks

10. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Please provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations
  • Late cancellations may incur a fee
  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to emergencies

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Erick's Resale Shop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or products.
